Bhopal: Gold crown worth Rs 3L stolen from temple

BHOPAL: Unidentified miscreants stole a gold ‘mukut’ worth Rs 3.37 lakh from Baglamukhi temple, Kotra under Kamla Nagar police station.

As per the police, miscreants stole the ‘Mukut’ on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. Pujari Neelesh Bhargava saw the locks broken and informed the police.  Police have registered a case of theft and launched a manhunt to arrest the accused. The accused got accessed the sanctum Santorum of the temple and stole the gold mukut.

Investigating Officer (IO) Prakash Rajput said, “We have registered a case of theft.”
