Bhopal: Girls get hostel accommodation

HOSHANGABAD: At the weekly jansunvai held in the auditorium of the district panchayat office here on Tuesday, collector Avinash Lavania received an application from Puja Soni and Arti Soni, both of Pachmarhi, saying that they needed a place to live in at Hoshangabad for attending a college. The collector immediately directed the assistant commissioner, tribal development to allot accommodation to the two students in the hostel. If there was no place in the hostel, alternative arrangements should be made, he directed. The collector disposed of 75 applications in the hearing. He said all officers should present the status of pending complaints at timeline meeting. All the applications received in the jansunvai are uploaded on the computer and their disposal is monitored online.
