Bhopal: Girl jumps into Upper Lake, rescued

BHOPAL: An 18-year-old girl who was upset because of the poor financial condition of the family jumped into Upper Lake to commit suicide on Sunday. The divers deployed at Upper Lake rescued the girl.

According to the Talaiya police sources, a girl jumped into the Upper Lake at around 2pm and she was rescued by the divers. The girl has been identified as Varsha Khateek of Atal Ayub Nagar.

The police have not registered any case and have released the girl after warning.

Police said that financial condition of the girl’s family was not good as her father was unemployed.
