BHOPAL: Those personnel who are infected with corona and get cured have to obtain a certificate before joining duty, said DGP Vivek Johri while addressing police personnel through a webinar on Tuesday. The DGP issued many instructions to the personnel and also suggestions related to corona infection and other related issues in his address.
The DGP also told the unit chiefs that those who had suffered from the infection would be deputed to less-populated and adjoining places so that they can remain safe from other complications.
He added that, now that the curfew has been relaxed and the people will come out in good numbers, the personnel will have to wear masks and also a face shield. He instructed the force that arrests should be done in emergencies and the police personnel could enter buildings or premises to arrest any wanted accused only in an emergency.
Only accused involved in serious crimes should be arrested and, while performing the duties, the police personnel should use protective kits. He also instructed his people that accused who were wanted under bailable sections, should be given bail on the spot. They should not be brought to the police station. He asked the personnel to wash their hands after executing their duties in arresting any wanted accused and also other duties.
Talking about vaccination-related rumours in the rural areas, he asked the ppolice personnel to support and secure the health department personnel carrying out their duties.
