“During the regime of Congress roads of MP were so pathetic that people used to use the agriculture fields as roads,” said CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan while attending the Samriddh MP campaign, at BJP office, here on Sunday.
The BJP have launched the Samriddh Madhya Pradesh campaign, in which 50 vans will visit across MP to highlight the works and also ask the masses to provide their suggestions for the Samriddh Madhya Pradesh. During the address the CM pointed out the failures of the Congress government and highlighted the works of the BJP government done in last 15 years.
He claimed “The black outs still gives shivers in the spine of the people who have endured sleepless nights of summer season, the farmers had witnessed days when there was no power for irrigation and school were without teachers and students.” “Since BJP government came to power the situation has changed, now the state is having surplus power, irrigated land has increased to 40 lakh hectors and the teachers who were appointed for Rs 500 are now getting Rs 25000”, he added.
He urged the people to participate in the Samriddh Madhya Pradesh campaign (SMPC) by providing their suggestions. He said the suggestions which are practical and applicable will be implemented in the coming five years.
Cong files plaint against BJP’s SMPC
Congress party has filed a complaint with the Election Commission against BJP’s SMPC. The party spokesperson Narendra Saluja alleged that BJP is demanding the idea from the voters and claiming that they will implement it in the coming five years. The demand comes under the violation of the Election Model Code of Conduct, because the demand is a way of luring. He alleged that BJP is making a false promise to voters, which is another violation of MCC. He demanded that SMPC vans be seized and a case be registered under the relevant sections of MCC.
SMPC vans flagged off
Thousands of the supporter gathered at the BJP office, some found the place in the hall and others were remained fixed in front of the LED installed outside of the office. A good number of women members have also came to attend the function. CM and other party leaders flagged of the vans by waving party flag, normally the green flag is used to flag off the rally. The vans are equipped with the screens on which the videos are played. The videos showcase the achievement of 15 years of government and carry an appeal for the people to participate in SMPC.
