Farm loan not waived in 10 days, now Rahul Gandhi should remove CM: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal: Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, flagging off ‘Sankalp Raths’ for Lok Sabha polls on Monday, said that Congress national president Rahul Gandhi should remove Chief Minister Kamal Nath as farm loan could not be waived in 45 days.

Chouhan said Rahul Gandhi had earlier said that if farm loan was not waived in 10 days, then CM would be changed. BJP has launched ‘Sankalp Raths’ for all 29 Lok Sabha seats, which would publicise the achievements of the central government. “Rahul and Kamal Nath painted a rosy picture to the farmers and made false promises,” he said.

False loan waiver would not be tolerated, he added. “The bugle for struggle has been blown. The party workers should get ready for Lok Sabha elections. Unprecedented works have been done in four years and this should be publicized in the public,” said former chief minister. Congress leaders were talking of playing on front foot but politics is not cricket but a medium of public service, where dedication is needed alike Modi, said Chouhan.
