BHOPAL: A drop of 50C was recorded in night temperature in the state capital on intervening night of Sunday-Monday. Light isolated rain was experienced in Bhopal on intervening night. Day as well as night temperature reduced all over the state. Umaria, Shajapur, Raisen, Rajgarh each recorded a fall of three degree Celsius in night temperature.
Besides, hailstorm with rains and thundershowers lashed some parts of the state. A cyclonic circulation over East Rajasthan and western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir, has set up thunderstorms, dust storms and showers over various parts of the state. Isolated places over Madhya Pradesh recorded rain or thundershowers in the last 24 hours. A hailstorm was reported in East Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 39.80C while it recorded a minimum temperature of 22.60C Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 400C and minimum temperature of 25.30C which was just above normal.
