The exit-poll released on Friday has given breath of fresh air to Congress, as many of the opinion are stating that Congress will form the government in the state on December 11. The counting will be done on Tuesday. However, some exits polls are claiming BJP will retain its power in the state for fourth time.
Congress state media president Sobha Oza said the promising numbers of exit polls showcase disillusion of farmers, unemployed youth, crime against women and mis-governance of the BJP lead 15 year old government. She added “We don’t believe in the exit-polls, but the report says and we also believe that the Congress party is forming the government in the state”.
However the BJP is concerned after exit-poll results. The BJP camp is waiting for the December 11 the counting day , when all predictions and projections will end. They maintain that voters have voted for them in the elections and they are quite during the survey.
According to India Today-Axis My India exit poll BJP and Congress are headed for a photo finish contest in the battle for Madhya Pradesh. While the Congress is projected to win 104-122 seats, the BJP is likely to secure 102-120 seats. The Bahujan Samaj Party is predicted to win around 1-3 seats. However, the results released by Times Now-CNX projected a clear victory for the BJP with 126 seats and 89 seats for the Congress.
