Bhopal: Ex-servicemen involved in blast!

BHOPAL: An ex-serviceman was among the plotters of the Bhopal-Ujjain train blast, said the sources probing the case. Six persons were involved in plotting the attack, said sources. While three terror suspects were arrested on Tuesday, two others GM Khan and Azhar are still absconding. Suspected ISIS terrorist Saifullah was killed on Wednesday in Lucknow. GM Khan is an ex-servicemen and was under the influence of the IS ideology for some time. The blast, sources said, was a “trial run” and the accused intended to mount a major attack in the future. Sources said that the terrorists had tried to engineer a blast in some other train earlier, but had to drop the plan as one person got suspicious of their intent. The man was later killed. They have admitted to the murder in interrogation. The police are also questioning some other persons in connection with the case. All the accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh and their objective was to spread terror.
