Bhopal: The joining of the newly appointed Economic Offence Wing SP Arun Mishra raised the issue and he waited for more than two hours for the joining, here on Tuesday. The director general EOW said, “We don’t discuss the internal issue with press.”
Chaos prevailed in the EOW office, when the newly appointed EOW SP Arun Mishra reached there to take charge. Sources informed that he was refused the joining by the DG KN Tiwari and he could eventually take charge only after then the CM secretariat intervened into the matter.
The home department issued the transfer order of Arun Mishra. As per the order Mishra was to take charge as a SP in EOW, but the sources claimed that the general administration department had issued the circular in which it is stated that the DG designate the officer on the particular post.
The second issue is related to the consent from the EOW, before appointing the particular officer. In the case of Mishra the government did not took the consent of the EOW for the appointment. Sources claimed that the DG was annoyed with the government orders. While talking to Free Press DG KN Tiwari informed “There is no hassle in the joining of the officer in EOW, but some internal issue was there and we did not share with the press.”
