Bhopal smart city development corporation limited’s (BSCDCL) initiative of start-ups promotion has met success. An start-up of incubate Vibhu Tripathi has received 1.20 lkh USD in funding from a Hong Kong based firm. An engineering student of the city Tripathi participated in the B-nest programme organised by the BSCDCL an year ago.
He is designing an intelligent drone in his firm Vijbi. The drone will be used in times of need like floods- to supply relief materials to the stranded people. Vibhu’s technology has been selected by the Hongkong based firm under its escalator programme. He has been invited to the Hongkong and Tokyo for it.
B-nest is the incubation center of BSCDCL that helps the selected incubates who have their own ideas of unique start ups. Over 35 incubates are working in the B-nest where apart from help and advice the start-ups also get a free space for work with internet and cafeteria.
