A 24-year-old engineering student died after his bike skidded and rammed into divider near Budhwara on Friday night. The police said that an injured youth was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. The deceased was identified as Tushar Chinchkhade, a resident of Nagpur Maharashtra and was pursuing engineering from MANIT and was in final year in masters of planning.
During the investigation it came to fore that the deceased was returning from railway station and was moving at a high speed and failed to control vehicle after a man appeared and he hit the adjacent vehicle and bike skid due to which he sustained injuries. The onlookers rushed him to Hamidia hospital where he died during treatment.
The deceased was not wearing helmet and sustained severe head injuries in his head which proved fatal for him. Police were informed and after the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The police registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC.Deceased was lone son while his father works with the mining department. On the other hand, students in MANIT postponed all the events that they had planned during their annual fest on Saturday.
