BHOPAL: An elderly woman was relieved of her gold chain worth Rs 25000 by two bike-borne miscreants at Sonagiri under Piplani police station area in the morning on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victim Ramshree Shrivastava, 70, wife of Sitaram, resides at MIG-36, A-Sector in Sonagiri. The incident occurred in morning when she had gone to temple where the miscreants attacked her and escaped with the gold chain she was wearing.
The victim raised alarm but before the locals could help her the miscreants escaped the spot. Victim told the police that she was shocked in the incident took place and was not able to notice the registration number or any other detail of the miscreants. The incident took place at around 9.40 am when the victim was on her way to temple.
