The BRTS corridor will now be monitored by CCTV cameras. Not only this, the vehicles which enters BRTS illegally, will be tracked down and will be fined. In a meeting with officials, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Bhopal smart city development corporation (BSCDCL) Sanjay Kumar said that the reports of iilegal entry of vehicles in the corridor are alarming.
He said that the CCTV cameras will be installed at the entry of the BRTS corridor in the busy areas and all these cameras will be linked with the CCTV cameras of integrated traffic management system (ITMS), through which the e-challans will be generated and served to the offender. Then the authorities swung into ation after the traffic wardens who were deployed at the entries of the BRTS corridor said that the vehicle owners neglect their warnings and enter into the corridor. They alleged that the offenders also hurl abuses at them.
