Dusty hot winds swept the state capital increasing temperature on Saturday. Temperature continued to soar all over the state as heat wave like prevailed. Bhopal day temperature equalized the temperature of 2017 in March end. Khargone recorded 44.5 degree Celsius which was maximum temperature in the state. Central India saw rising temperatures.
In Bhopal, people have to bear brunt of heat wave like condition. Scorching heat was at peak in afternoon session. Dusty wind enhanced the discomfort level and affected the daily life of the people. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 40.8 degree Celsius, which was 5 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 23.2 degree Celsius which was 3.7 degree Celsius above normal.
Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 40.2 degree Celsius which was 3.9 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded minimum temperature of 21.4 degree Celsius which was 2.9 degree Celsius above normal. As per the meteorological department, cyclonic hot wind is blowing from Rajasthan side. It swept all over the state increasing temperature of the state. Heat wave like condition gripped parts of Madhya Pradesh also with Khargone recording maximum at 44.5 degrees. Moreover, in the last two days, many areas saw temperatures over 40 degrees.
