BHOPAL: Miscreants allegedly fired a bullet at an youth near Talaiya police station on Monday night. According to police a 22-year-old youth, who was passing through Autoji area with a 4-year-old boy, was shot at by two men at around 9. He also alleged that he thrashed by them.
The victim Mohammad Saif Qureshi told police that he was heading towards his relative’s house when accused Faizaan Macchli and Faraz Jhilli waylaid him. After abusing and thrashing him they attacked him with a sharp edged weapon. He alleged that they also opened fire at him but the bullet missed him.
Talaiya police have booked the accused under sections 341 294 323 506 34 of IPC. SHO Talaiya Indraj Singh said that an FIR has been registered but we have not found the bullets from the area. He said the accused are on the run.
