BHOPAL: The products of Indian corporate sector might be facing stiff competition in the global market but the demand for dogs bred in Bhopal is on the rise.

Only recently, the kennel club of Bhopal had sold a dog to a Chinese buyer and now the dogs bred in the city are sailing for Thailand. As per the club, now the focus will be more on caring for the dogs the buyers in foreign countries are more exacting than the Indian ones”.
The club’s Vishnu Dutt Tripathi said, “I am selling two dogs of different breeds to a buyer based in Thailand for Rs 4.5 lakh each. It is good that dogs bred in Bhopal are finding buyers in the international market and are competing with dogs from other countries. This will be a shot in the arm for other dog breeders and pet lovers in the city.”
