MORENA: District Panchayat chief Gita Harshana took out rallies in ward 19 and ward 20, and in villages Berai, Gird, Bamsoli, Rampur, Barkheda, Salempur, Alipura, Piparghan, Banvara, Raghu and in Kadhavna and advised the people to construct toilets in their homes under Swachch Bharat campaign. She said that the district is to be declared ODF by 31 March.
She initiated the programme by cleaning the places with a broom. During the visit Hamir Singh Patel said that open defecation generates many diseases. Sanitation is the responsibility of each person. Other district panchayat members also expressed their views in a programme.
