BJP national vice president Prabhat Jha on Monday, speaking at a press conference, dubbed the vision document of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh as fake paper. Jha claimed that Singh, during his ten-year tenure as Chief Minister, created image of state as a pit, brought darkness and spoiled it. Jha alleged that Singh is now doing the work of misleading people.
Jha said BJP is soon going to present its vision document which would present future of Bhopal. Jha said Chief Minister Kamal Nath is claiming of hung government at the Centre while Singh is putting up his vision document. He said Singh did not tell who is going to implement vision document. Former minister Umashankar Gupta said Singh during his tenure as chief minister had termed bringing Narmada water to Bhopal as impossible thing. Gupta asked what Singh did for Bhopal. Mayor Alok Sharma alleged that the development of Bhopal has come to stand still with Congress coming to power in the state.
Development & Digvijaya are contradictory to each other: Shivraj
Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, interacting with mediapersons here on Monday, said Digvijaya Singh and development are two contradictory things. Chouhan said had Singh was pro-development, he could have done it in his term. Chouhan appreciated Chief Minister Kamal Nath accepting the truth. He said Nath has accepted that Congress would not form the government. Chouhan said the government of NDA having majority and not the hung government, would be formed at the Centre.
