BHOPAL: Director General of Police V K Singh on Friday interacted with the district superintendents of police at Bhori police training academy and took feedback on the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The DGP chaired the meeting of the district SPs for the first time after assuming the office.
Singh inquired from the officers about the force required for the election, critical polling stations and factors which can affect the election in their respective districts. Later, the officers were also informed about the working of EVM and VVPAT.
Congress government after gaining power in the state had executed a number of transfers of top police officers including district SPs. DGP who too assumed the office recently also had one-on-one meeting with some of the officers with whom he had not much interaction in past.
