Bhopal: DEO finds principal of school missing, orders salary deduction

BHOPAL: District education officer, Bhopal has served the notice and deducted one day salary of the principal of Government Nutan Subash School. The DEO found only 19 out of 277 students present in their classes.

DEO DK Sharma conducted surprise inspections of three government schools including Government Kamla Nehru Girls Higher Secondary School, Government Sultania Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Government Ubedia High School, Government Deepsikha Middle School and Government Nutan Subash Higher Secondary School on Saturday.

During the inspection at Government Nutan Subash School, principal Nahida Jahan was found to be absent without taking leave or informing the department.

It was also found that from Class 9 to 12, there are 277 students enrolled, but only 19 students were found present.

The DEO has charged with misconduct under MP Civil Service Code Rule 1965 and serving the notice to the principal he also ordered to deduct the school principal’s one day salary.
