Bhopal: A dental surgeon has filed a complaint of rape against her former classmate who allegedly exploited her on the pretext of marriage. The 32-year-old complainant said she was raped while she was in a relationship with the accused. Nevertheless, the accused did not marry her, even after staying in a relationship with her for a decade.
She told police that when they moved to other places for their respective jobs, the accused refused to marry her. Chola Mandir SHO Radheyshyam Rengar said the accused was her classmate in 2006. They were in a relation which soured after the accused refused to marry the girl in 2016. He said the girl had alleged that the accused had raped her in 2016 calling her at is rented accommodation. The FIR was lodged in Ujjain and the case has been transferred to Bhopal.
