MORENA: Police got a big success on Friday night. A joint team of Bhind, Morena and Sheopur police arrested three dacoits on whom there was cash reward of Rs 50,000.
A few days back, the leader of the gang Wakila Mallah and his companions had kidnapped two employees of irrigation department and had released them after getting ransom money of Rs 2.5 lakhs. After this incident Chambal IG Umesh Joga and DIG Anil Sharma spread their net of informers in the Chambal region.
DIG Anil Sharma of Chambal range said that they got the information that Wakila Mallah is coming to Morena to purchase arms.
Then a search operation was initiated in dense areas near Kwari River under leadership of additional SP. The police force caught dacoit Mallah, Banti Kori and Kalla Pandit near Chacheri Mata Mandir with 315 bore gun, 57 live cartridges and ransom money of Rs 50,000 was recovered.
