BHOPAL: Congress has never questioned demonetisation. The party is questioning only the manner in which it was done, said PCC chief Arun Yadav at a press conference on Thursday. The party is going to protest on the issue on November 28.
Arun Yadav alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has executed the demonetisation of currency note of Rs 500 and 1000 without planning. The farmers are running from pillar to post to get their Rabi crop sowed. They are not getting seeds and fertilizers and are unable to pay to labourers.
“People standing in queue for last 15 days are not corrupt, they are those people who have their hard-earned money, they are standing to exchange and to deposit the amount, the real corrupt people are resting”.
Every day the PM is declaring the policy and programme regarding the demonetised currency. To protest the improper implementation of the demonetisation the protest will be organised at nation wide.
In state, at every district headquarters the rally and demonstration will be organised, the memorandum will be presented to the district collectors. At state capital, the rally will be organised and the memorandum will be submitted to the governor.
