BHOPAL: The BJP core committee for Madhya Pradesh, constituted by the national leadership of the party, will meet on Monday to review the working of the party organisation and the government.
Among others, BJP national organisational general secretary Ramlal and state in-charge Vinay Sahasrabuddhe will be participating in the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 2.30 pm at the CM House. Besides the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state party chief Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Thawarchand Gehlot and Phaggan Singh Kulaste will be also be participating in the meeting. National general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya may also join.
Besides the Narmada Yatra, the meeting will also discuss the measures taken by the state government for implementing the RSS agenda. The meeting may also postmortem BJP’s defeat in the Ater Assembly bye-polls. The core committee has been constituted by the BJP national chief Amit Shah to monitor and control the working of the government. The state government is completely in the grip of the RSS these days. The decision to celebrate the birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya and the project for the installation of an ‘ashtadhatu’ statue of the Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar is also inspired by the RSS agenda.
