In the month of November 12, last year, Satvinder and Dadu were arrested from RS Pura police station area of Jammu. They were involved in collecting information related to army and other security forces and were sending the information through WhatsApp to Pakistan.

During the investigations it came to fore that they were using the voice over internet calls, misleading the security agencies.  These calls were coming from Pakistan and the jumping numbers were used during the calls.

A Satna district resident, Balram made payment to duos by transferring the amount in their accounts. When the ATS snooped on Balram it came to know that he is in connection with ten others in the state who were later held.

The ATS found that three telephone exchange were operating in Bhopal, Jabalpur and in Gwalior through which the calls were made to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and other neighbouring states.

These ten arrested accused were collecting information posing themselves as army officials. When the army or the security official received the call on their cell phone, they found the calls being made by their superior officers.

The officers unwittingly gave them the correct information about the location or the desired information asked by the caller. The ATS tracked the whole network in around 100 days and finally they arrest eleven accused in the case.

Following the arrest various agencies have strengthened their security network, the Western Railway Board held meeting of all the managers and security officers in Mumbai.
