Bhopal: Cops called in to curb fracas at Morena Ramniwas Rawat meeting

BHOPAL: Disorder prevailed in a meeting of Congress candidate from Morena Ramniwas Rawat, on Sunday. The police was called to control the situation. The groupsim in the Congress reflected in the meeting, Ratwat reached to hold the first meeting to form the election strategy after the declaration of his candidature. But all hell broke loose as group of Jyotiraditya Scindia and Digvijay Singh came face to face with each other.

The candidate was conducting the meeting with the present and former public representatives like, district panchayat, janpad panchayat and other local bodies. Meantime the ex-district panchayat president Manoj Yadav and former Nagar Palika president Rinku Mawai got into heated arguments. The issue intensified to the extent that they came out from the meeting hall and started bashing each other. Rawat and other Congressmen tried to control the situation, to no avail. On this the police was called to control the situation and both of them were taken to police station.
