Bhopal: Cops attacked by mining mafia

MORENA: A police team that had gone to arrest an accused in a case of illegal mining of sand was attacked by the villagers using lathis. Three cops sustained minor injuries in the attack. A police team had gone to Pathanpura village under Devgarh police station to arrest accuses Ramdhun who was absconding. ASI Udal Singh, constable Dheer Singh and driver Rajkumar were hurt. The police have registered cases against eight persons. All of them are absconding.
