Bhopal: Contract employees to be employed till age of 62

Bhopal: State government has decided to not to remove any contractual employee before the age of 62 years. The general administration department issued the order on Friday stating that all officials and employees working as contract employees in the state government can work till the age of 62 years and will not be removed from the service. This makes them eligible to work at par with government servants whose retirement age was increased from 60 to 62 years before assembly elections.
