Bhopal: Conman draws Rs 2 lakh using fake documents

BHOPAL: An amount of Rs 2.90 lakh was fraudulently withdrawn under Swa-Rojgar Yojana from Bank of India (BoI), Bagmugalia, through fake Ration Cards and fake Voter ID. Account holders lodged complaint with the police as money has been withdrawn from their accounts.

Bagswania police registered a case of fraud and cheating against unidentified accused for withdrawing Rs 2.90 lakh from Bank of India (BoI) through forged documents. Incident occurred in 2012.

As per police, Ravindra Chaurasia and Suresh Vishwakarma lodged the complaint that some one withdrew money from their bank accounts after submitting fake ration cards and voter identity. Both live in Bag Mugalia.

The accused had applied for loan under Swa -Rojgar Yojana.

The money was withdrawn from two bank accounts. A case under section 420,467, 468, 477 of IPC has been registered against unidentified accused.
