BHOPAL: Congress will bring white paper on Narmada Seva Yatra. PM Modi is scheduled to attend the concluding programme of the yatra at Amarkantak on May 15. He should know who had damaged the river, said state Congress president Arun Yadav in a press conference here on Tuesday.
He alleged the kin of CM Chouhan had extorted Narmada by illegal mining in last 12 years. Now the CM was conducting Narmada Seva Yatra. The state government had made provisions in state budget for the programme and the Congress would bring white paper on the Yatra.
He also alleged the CM was putting allegation on MP Jyotiraditya Scindia for selling out trust lands. He alleged family members of the CM were involved in land scam; they had committed fraud through cooperative societies. He also added Rajmata Scindia had also not sold any trust lands far back. “The Congress will unveil the land scam very shortly,” he claimed. He also said the allegations against the leader were the result of the Ater constituency victory of the Congress.
He asked the PM about his claim that demonetisation would stop Naxal and anti-national activities in India, but in last four months the activities had increased several folds. “Government of Chhattisgarh should be dissolved and president’s rule imposed, because the government has failed to control the Maoist activities in the state,” he said. He also alleged due to incompetent government the Congress had lost its whole leadership in Naxal attacks in last few years in Chhattisgarh.
