BHOPAL: State Congress spokesman KK Mishra was granted bail by a district court on Tuesday on a personal bond of Rs 10,000 in a defamation case. The case was filed by finance minister Jayant Mallaiya.
Earlier, Mallaiya had filed a case on August 2 against Mishra.
Mishra had alleged that Devi Shakuntala Thakral Charitable Trust run by KL Thakral, owner of Oriental Engineering College, had grabbed 110 acres of land, worth 115 crore, of the government.
Mishra had accused finance minister Jayant Mallaiya of helping in this act.
