Bhopal: Even 50 years would not be enough for the Congress to oust the BJP government from the state, said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing the party workers. Chouhan said the Congress leaders were happy when on Thursday, while leaving his chair during a programme, he had said that anyone can sit on it, however, “Congress men! You cannot remove the BJP, he quipped.

Informing the party workers about the programmes of the government, he called upon them to take the works and the achievement of the party to the people. Claiming that BJP government was committed for the welfare of the people, Chouhan asked the party workers to make people understand it and also tell them that Congress was busy in taking out rallies only.

Those who were born with silver spoon and had never seen poverty cannot withstand the BJP workers, said the Chouhan, adding that after forming government in the state by winning the assembly election, the party would win all the 29 LokSabha seats in the state. Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar said the Congress has no answer to the work done by the BJP, which would form the next government too.

State BJP president Rakesh Singh urged the party workers to paint before the people the picture about the condition of state before 2003.

Amit Shah’s speech full of arrogance: LoP Ajay Singh

Reacting to the speech of national BJP president Amit Shah, leader of opposition Ajay Singh said Shah’s speech was full of arrogance. Quoting Shah,  the Congress leader said that his comment ‘Congress leaders would … have heart attack,’ indicates that he wishes the opposition leaders to die. “Our culture teaches us that we should pray for the welfare of the universe and all beings, but Shah is speaking like a fascist,” Singh said.

MPCC president Kamal Nath said Shah was calling the anti-farmer government as pro-farmer one and the results of the by-elections indicated whose end has begun.
