Khargone: Congress candidate from Khandwa – Burhanpur Lok Sabha seat Arun Yadav has started campaign for the upcoming elections. He is currently touring the tribal rural areas such as Jhiranya and adjoining villages. Addressing the gathered on Thursday afternoon in Jhiranya village, he said, “If we come to power, we will ensure that water for irrigation reaches all farms. Apart from this, as the party president Rahul Gandhi has already promised, an annual income of RS 72,000 will be provided to the poor section. We will fulfill all our promises, like we did when we won the assembly elections.”

Agriculture minister Sachin Yadav was also present and said Jhiranya was his father’s workplace. He added that they will strive to fulfill all the visions of his father, and will develop Jhiranya. Supporting the party, MLA Kedar Singh Dabar urged people to vote and to choose their representative judiciously. Arun Yadav said he will come back to constituency to file his nomination form on April 24 with chief minister Kamal Nath. Over 60 sarpanchs and janpad members came out to support Yadav in this event.
