We have to contest election right from the booth level don’t be afraid of BJP’s money and power, you Congressmen are more powerful than any other party workers, said former chief minister and Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate Digvijaya Singh, here on Thursday.
He was addressing the meeting of all eight assembly constituencies’ workers and was discussing the grassroots challenges and problems. Huge number of workers attended the meeting. Singh told workers, “I am not the voter of Bhopal, but I have come here counting on your votes, you have to help me win this election.”
Motivated the workers he said, “In the 1977 I had won the election in that year Congressmen were turning down candidature, but I took the challenge and won the election”. Giving the success mantra to the party workers he said, “We have to strengthen the booth, if we are able to win booths we will win the election.”
In the meeting the ministers including public relation minister PC Sharma, general administration minister Dr Govind Singh and urban development minister Jaivardhan Singh were present along with MP Kantilal Bhuria, former union minister Suresh Pachori among others.
