HOSHANGABAD: Collector Avinash Lavania, on Tuesday, held a joint jansunvai at the district panchayat auditorium. Many problems were brought to him including those related with construction of toilets, roads, encroachment, family disputes and unauthorised occupation of government land.
Sitaram Pandey submitted a complaint against Rajesh Rathore, who was posted in the district earlier as deputy collector. Pande said the officer had deliberately misplaced a file regarding a complaint made by him against former municipality chairperson Maya Narolia. Lavania told Pandey that he would take action in the matter after enquiry. After making a complaint to the collector, the power bill of a resident of Dolaria was reduced from Rs 10,000 to Rs 2,887.
