Bhopal: Collector, SP Mukesh Shrivastav inspect Central Jail

NARSINGHPUR: Collector Dr RR Bhonsle and SP Mukesh Shrivastav made surprised inspection of Central Jail on Thursday. Police searched the things of the prisoners. Collector instructed the jail staff to keep an eye on the jail, and insisted to keep the arrangements firm and strict. The police officials were along with them, they inspected the sensitive places and different barracks. The instructions were given to increase the height of outside walls of the jail. With this connection, the directions were given to take the technical advice from PWD. Collector did the inspection and took the information of various things like the capacity of the barracks, under trial prisoners, watch tower of the jail, CCTV cameras, monitoring system, video conferencing room, siren, new jail of block B, administrative room, SP room, interaction room where the prisoners and their relatives can talk etc. collector expressed satisfaction on the cleanliness of the jail and no objectionable material was found in the searching.
