BHOPAL: The collector of Bhopal district, the commissioners of Indore and Chambal divisions and many other IAS officers may be shifted soon. The personnel department has drawn up a list of IAS officers posted at the same place for long. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and chief secretary Basant Pratap Singh have discussed the issue and these officers may be transferred soon.
The posts of commissioner, higher education, mission director, NHRM and director, AIDS are also lying vacant and these have to be filled. Illaiya Raja, who was removed from the post of collector of Bhind, may be given the command of some other district.
Nishant Barbade has completed four years in the capital as collector. Sanjay Dube, commissioner, Indore and Shivanand Dube, commissioner Chambal have been on their posts for more than four years. NVDA vice-chairman Rajnish Vaishya has completed five years on the same post. PS, agriculture Rajesh Rajora, PS, co-operatives Ajit Kesri, PS, Industries, Mohammed Suleiman and many other officers have also completed more than three years in the same department. Their departments will be changed. Moreover, field postings are to be made in view of the 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections. Many regular recruit IAS officers are posted in Mantralaya and at other places. They will be sent to the districts as collectors.
Sources said the transfer orders were likely to be issued after the bypolls. After becoming CS, Singh has not been able to conduct any major administrative surgery. Many important posts are being held by officers as additional charge. Fulltime officers are to be posted on these posts.
