Bhopal: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, besides attending governmental programmes, is also holding meetings with the leaders of party organisation these days during his tours. Chouhan is seeking information about the ground-level position and the programmes of party organisation in these meetings.

Previously, Chouhan did not use to meet with the leaders of party organisation during his tours of districts. This led to a complaint that Chouhan was not giving importance to leaders of the party organisation.

Moreover, BJP state president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan failing in his role and party organisation general secretary apathetic attitude were the reasons behind brewing resentment against the duo. This has made Chouhan to look into the affairs of party organisation as well.

During Chouhan’s tours, meetings of district level office bearers are being held. He is also conducting meetings on weekly basis at party’s state office with election management team. A BJP leader maintains that Chouhan is the face of BJP and it is his duty to prepare party organisation for the elections coming near.

All the programmes launched in the recent past by the party organisation to outreach the party workers and the people turned into flop shows. This has made Chouhan decide to directly maintain contact with the people and the party workers.
