Bhopal: CM dedicates Rs 30 cr projects to public

Sendhwa: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated as many as 13 projects tune of Rs 29.94 crores to public here at Sendhwa on Sunday. CM Chouhan was in town to participate in the mass marriage programme under the Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana, where 1,051 couples entered into the wedlock. This includes 25 Muslim couple those solemnised “nikah” as per the rituals.  According to information, during his visit to the town, Chouhan dedicated civil hospital building and new Government Polytechnic College building to public. Government spent Rs 5 crore and Rs 7.87 crore respectively on both the projects.

Apart from two major projects, government constructed 30 bed hospital at Varla village spending Rs 2.8 crore and sub-health centres at Umarti, Panjariya, Vinayaki, Kalukundi, Dhamariya and Dhawada villages with cost of Rs 20 lakh each on the building dedicated to the public by the Chief Minister here during the programme.

Similarly, in order to enhance irrigation facilities in the area, Chief Minister dedicated three newly constructed – Pisnawal Bairaj, Naktirani Bairaj and Thigli Bairaj. Government spend total Rs 12.42 crores on three projects in the area and it will facilitate irrigation on 790 hectare land of the area. Furthermore Chouhan performed bhoomi poojan of 132/33 k.v.a elctricity sub-center to be built at Shahpura. Chief Minister Chouhan made several announcements on demand of local MLA and minister for animal husbandry Antarsingh Arya.

These announcements include starting college in Balwadi from next academic session, to release Rs 5 crore for Sendhwa Municipality separately, construction of barrages on rivers of Sonkhedi, Dugani, Rojanimaal and Mehatgaon, starting of girls high schools in Dhanora and Balwadi and construction of 33/11 kv electricity sub-centers in Dhavli and Gwadi among others. Khandwa-Burhanpur MP and BJP state president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, minister for animal husbandry Antarsingh Arya and MLA Diwan singh were present in the programme.
