Bhopal: The state government will give Rs 1 crore as financial assistance to the family of Ashwini Kumar Kachi, who attained martyrdom in Pulwama attack. Ashwini, was a native of village Khulwar of Sehora tehsil of Jabalpur. Chief Minister Kamal Nath has also announced job to one member of the family and a house to the family of the martyr.
Nath, who will be going to attend Jabalpur cabinet meeting, would visit the Ashwini’s house to meet his kin. Ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state president Rakesh Singh and LoP of opposition Gopal Bhargava will also be visiting the bereaved family of the martyr.
The ministers: Tarun Bhanot, Lakhan Ghanghoria and Priyavrat Singh and Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha too visited the family members of the martyr on Friday. Bhanot also gave a sum of Rs 50,000 in his personal capacity. Nath has said that the whole state is proud of Ashwini. He said the terrorism should be eliminated from its roots. There are several families at Ashwini’s native place whose members are serving in the Army.
