Bhopal: Cheer up, monsoon to hit Madhya Pradesh in next two days

Bhopal: Monsoon is all set to enter Madhya Pradesh from South-East side within next 48 hours. Weatherman said that southwest monsoon will hit regions of Balaghat, Jabalpur, Khargone. Weather conditions are favourable for onset of monsoon in the state which is experiencing showers in sundry parts of state.

According to meteorological department, now conditions are favourable for onset of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh. It will hit South-east Madhya Pradesh within next two days and will expand to other parts of the State. Sheopurkalan was the hottest place in the state recording 45 degree Celsius, followed by Guna 44.4 degree Celsius and Rajgarh 43.7 degree Celsius.

State capital experienced pre-monsoon shower, while trees and billboards were uprooted by storm that packed winds blowing at a speed of 80 kilometre per hour. Supply of electricity was disrupted in many areas. Gusty winds vrought trees sown at Char Imli, Danish Kunj (Hoshangabad Road), Abhinav Homes (Hoshangabad Road), Bagsewania police station, UCO Bank (Bagsewania), Manisha Market, 80ft Road, Shahpura-Gulmohar, Sai-mandir (1100-Quarter).

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration has pressed its teams in respective areas to clear the traffic congestion caused by fallen trees. Earlier, light showers provided much needed relief to residents from humid weather which prevailed in state capital throughout the day.

City recorded 6mm rainfall while it recorded maximum temperature of 40.3 degree Celsius, while minimum temperature of 31.2 degree Celsius. Indore registered maximum temperature of 39.1 degree Celsius, while temperature temp 26.6 degree Celsius.
