SHIVPURI: Jansunvai is held every Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm for quick redressal of complaints of commoners. Some changes have been made in the system. Now, on an experimental basis, the public hearing will be held at Manas Bhavan.
Collector Omprakash Shrivastava said officers of all departments would be present at the jansunvai. There will be a table for each of them and the name of the department will be displayed in bold letters behind the chair. All the complaints will be registered and the applicant will be sent to the officer concerned. The officer will accept the application and issue necessary directives in writing. If the applicant is dissatisfied, he can approach the collector. All the officers will deposit the applications at the designated counter where they will be scanned and loaded on the computer. There will be separate counters for matters concerned with more than one department.
