Bhopal: CBSE RESULTS: City schools fare well in class XII exams

Bhopal: Students of various schools of the city scored well in the CBSE class XII exams, results of which were declared on Sunday. Students of St Joseph’s Convent Senior Secondary School situated at Idgah Hills fared well in the results with the school topper Diviya Parakh scoring 96.8 per cent marks in Commerce and Maths, followed by Zahra Ahmed, who scored 96.2 per cent in Commerce. Muskan Jain of the school scored 95.2 per cent marks in Biology, Aditi Gupta 95.2 per cent in PCM and Arunima Mathura scored 94.8 per cent in Arts.

The school witnessed 45 students scoring 90 per cent marks, 84 students scoring between 80 to 90 per cent, 72 students between 70 to 80 per cent, 48 students between 60 to 70 per cent and 27 between 50 to 60 per cent to pass the exams. Three students scored 100 per cent marks— Vagmi Khatri and Afreen Khan in Fine Arts and Aditi Jain in Political Science.

Bal Bhavan school topper Chandan Agarwal scored 94.6 per cent marks in Commerce with 100 out of 100 in Economics. Anuj Nayak from the school scored 94.2 per cent in Science and in Arts, Tooba Khan scored 90 per cent marks. Sayyad Sana Khan scored 99 in Chemistry and Bashar Jaan Khan scored 98 in Physics and IP. Samia Sarfaraj received 98 marks in Commercial Arts to become the topper of the school.

Principal of Delhi Public School, Ajay K Sharma informed that the school yet again has produced 100 per cent superlative class-XII result. Soumya Bansal of the school scored 95.4 per cent marks in PCB to top the school. Similarly, Neha Bapna topped the school in Commerce with 96.4 per cent marks. As many as 24 students of the school scored an aggregate of 95 per cent and 88 students out of 345 appeared in the exams, scored an aggregate of 90 per cent marksl. An average aggregate mark scored by each student was 81 per cent, record breaking result in Painting where 10 students of the school scored 100 marks. Several students scored 100 out of 100 marks in Physics, Chemistry, Business Studies, Informatics Practices and Painting. The students were: Anand Raj Lad (Physics), Anoushka Vyas (Chemistry), Pankhuri Garg (Business Studies), Lavanya Singh and Nischay Shopurkar (Informatics Practices). In painting, 10 students have received 100 out of 100 marks.

Campion School principal Fr. Dr Athnas Lakra SJ informed that the other top four students from Campion School are Abhijeet Verma (2nd rank with 96.2 per cent marks), Anunay Sharma (3rd rank with 93 per cent) and Jayesh Choudhary (4th rank with 93 per cent) and Zaid Ali Khan (5th with 92.8 per cent).

“All the students studied 7-8 hours every day. They shared their credit of success with their parents and teachers and said it’s not our individual achievement, as we could not achieve success without the support of our parents and teachers,” informed the principal. The top twenty five students scored 89 to 96.8 percentages in this exam. As many as 182 students from Campion School appeared in the class XII board exams, out of which 144 students received first division and 26 students received second division. Two students of the school— Amay Verma and Rishabh Shrivastava received 100 out of 100 in Mathematics, while a large number of Campionites scored 90 per cent and above. The overall percentage of Campion School in class XII results stood at 94 per cent.

School principal Lakra and vice principal Fr. Ajay Kumar Kerketta SJ have congratulated all the students for bringing laurels to the school and wished them a bright future. Similarly, students of Anand Vihar School also performed well in the CBSE class XII exams.

In Commerce, Ayush Singh Negi scored 93.6 per cent with 100 out of 100 marks in Economics. Tanmay Shrivastava scored 93.6 per cent in Science. Both the students topped the school in their respective streams. Management committee and school principal congratulate all the students on their achievements.
