Bhopal: ‘Caucus of nearly 40 officials involved in recruitment scam’

Bhopal: The allegations of a whistleblower, has put the BHEL administration in the dock over recruitment anomalies. A retired official RS Singh alleged that although the complaints were made since 2007 with higher ups but no action was taken.  After over 12 years, BHEL has terminated an employee (executive) on Monday.

The whistle blower alleged a caucus of nearly 40 officials is involved in recruitment scam. He alleged that such wrong practices of wide scale are not possible without a caucus. Raghvendra Shukla, BHEL public relation officer, said, “Now, the ball is in the BHEL administration court regarding investigation against others. Currently, one has been terminated. Some retired employees have been raising the issue and lodged complaints against appointment on fake degrees.”
