Bhopal: Cancer no more incurable, Dr Shukla

Bhopal: On World Cancer Day, Dr G P Paliwal gave a lecture on causes, prevention and remedy of the disease. The lecture was organised under the aegis of the Telecom. Women’s Welfare Organization on BSNL MP Circle Office premises. On the occasion a team of health and insurance sector also gave their presentation.

Chief General Manager of BSNL, MP, Dr Mahesh Shukla assured that cancer is no longer incurable and could be treated and a person could lead a healthy life thereafter. He spoke on cancer symptoms, prevention methods and availability of treatment.

The president of MP Telecom Women’s Welfare Organisation, Alka Shukla said that the main aim of the programme was to inform the people about the disease, available treatment and also to allay fear. Department officers and employees were present attended the lecture. LIC officer , Visilasha Mouka gave detailed information regarding the financial help and beneficial policy available for pursuing the treatment of the disease.
