Bhopal: Students of Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) showcased the changes that have come in the market due to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Digital India and demonetisation by making posters in a programme ‘Aarambh’. It was organised by department of commerce of BSSS for the session 2017.
They prepared creative utility products under a competition ‘Change-over India’ (poster presentation) on GST, Digital India and demonetisation and ‘Make-Over Market’ (best out of waste). The ceremony began with the release of logo and slogan of Commerce Club. The logo and slogan was selected through a competition named Smart logo competition, which was judged by HoD commerce Binoy Arickal, DB Singh and James Maman.
The students not only showed creativity by making attractive and beautiful handmade items out of the waste but also keeping in view the environment concerns which will not only help them in mushrooming and nurturing them in studies but also in extra smart activities. A prize distribution ceremony was also held. The event was enjoyed thoroughly by all with peppy songs presented by Commerce Rhythm and live commentary by RJs.
Binoy Arickal said, “Commerce Club conducts many activities every year so that our students get opportunities for their personality development. We believe students should develop consistent thinking so that they give a concrete shape to their thinking by participating in exhibitions, model presentations other co curricular activities.”
