Bhopal: BSCDCL’s initiative wins smart cities India award 2019

Bhopal: The integrated command and control center (ICCC) of the Bhopal smart city development corporation limited (BSCDCL) has been awarded with the smart cities India award 2019. The award has been given to the center for its common cloud data center and integrated city command and control center initiatives. The award was given in an event held at New Delhi and was received by the chief executive officer (CEO) of BSCDCL Sanjay Kumar.

The first cloud based command and control center of the country was developed by BSCDCL under the smart city mission and that was inaugurated on May 8, 2018. ICCC now has integrated the solid waste management, public transport, public bike sharing, mayor express, underground garbage bin, road sweeping machines and multi level parking and other initiatives for the denizens. The ICCC was also used during the Lok Sabha polls for monitoring.
