BHOPAL: BSC Nursing team bagged the first position and BCom team was the runner-up of the Drop RoBall Championship organised at LNCT University on Sunday.
More than 80 players of the university participated in the championship. Final matches of the all categories were played on Sunday.
In final match of boys’ singles Akbar of Nursing College defeated Abhishek of BCom and won the gold medal. In final of boys’ doubles, Ajay and Gaurav of Bcom defeated Nayan and Shubham of Paramedical by 2-1 and clinched the gold medal. In final of boys’ triples Arvindm Dheerendra and Lokesh defeated Preetam, Saket and Akhilesh of BBA by 2-0 to win the gold medal.
In finals of girls’ singles, Ranju Kumari of Nursing defeated Pooja Bihore of BSC by 2-0 and bagged the first position. In finals of girls’ doubles, Radhika and Pallavi defeated Vanshika and Nikita by 2-0 and clinched the gold medal.
New Dance Federation of India president and LNCT World School director Poonam Chauksey gave away the prizes to all the players. BSC Nursing bagged the overall champion trophy.
