BHOPAL: Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) launched a signature campaign at DB Mall for proper sanitation on Tuesday under “Mera Pran: Bhopal No-1”.
Additional BMC commissioner Malika Nagar launched it by pinning badge to Aruneshwar Singhdeo who put his signature with a pledge. Children staged street play on DB Mall premises. Badges will be distributed through 50 kiosks.
BMC has invited entries by December 10 from school and college students for essay, slogan and movies about “Mera Pran: Bhopal No-1” under Social Media championship. Students of 9th to 12th standard and from 6th standard to eight standard and college going students can join the competition. Essay will be from 500 to 1500 words length and slogans will be of 15 words. Movies will be of 3 minutes. Selected students will be brand ambassadors of Bhopal. For essay and slogans categories, Prize of Rs 5,000 cash will be given to first winner and Rs 3000 will be for second winner and Rs 2000 will be third winner. For moving making, first prize will be Rs 25,000, second prize will be Rs 15000 and third prize will be 10,000.
